Rachel A. Clingen Wedding and Event Design has been a leader in the wedding and event industry serving the greater Toronto are for more then 18 years. The company designs the flowers for hundreds of weddings and events each year. Rachel, the owner of the company explains the client/florist process of designing wedding flowers.
"Wedding flowers are an expression or even extension of the the couple. More often then not brides and grooms have a definite idea of what they want the 'feel' or atmosphere of there wedding to but after looking at 15 wedding magazines and 200 bridal web sites, are unsure of where to start".
She continues, "Many flowers have style or look of their own. For example the calla lilly is very sleek with few petals and certainly would have a more contemporary or stream lined look, while a peony is composed of many soft petals for a much for much more classic or vintage look. It is our job to evaluate the style the client wishes to portray and then suggest flowers accordingly."
