	Many couples dream of a wedding abroad, perhaps on a beach somewhere in the Caribbean, with the sun setting in the distance. It would be fair to say that our decision to have our wedding abroad is a bit of a twist on the conventional. You see, the Caribbean Sea is in our backyard, literally; we live in Grand Cayman. And so, our decision to wed abroad meant for us that we would head back to Toronto, where it all began, to be among family and friends instead of on a beach! Needless to say, it was a decision that would raise a few eyebrows and merits some criticism but ultimately, crisp, cool weather, vibrant fall colours and everyone we love in one place was exactly what we pictured and to watch it come to life was magic! We knew that the decision to plan a wedding from a distance would come with certain challenges but I didn't really appreciate how tricky it would be. That is why it was especially important to me to have people who I could trust and who shared my vision for the day on board and I found those qualities and more in Rachel and her team.
	"...thoughts and ideas turned into an amazing reality"	Eighteen months of leafing through magazines, exchanging emails and ideas all culminating in the most incredible day I could have ever imagined. Décor, in my mind was the absolute most important element and from the very moment I met Rachel, thanks to Cynthia Martyn, we began, together, to take my thoughts and ideas and turn them into the most amazing reality. The distance made for an interesting set of obstacles and I knew
	I needed someone who cared about the little things as much as I did and who could, without having me there, oversee the minutiae. It's all in the details and Rachel more than understands that. And so the day unfolded on November 3rd, 2007. A perfect afternoon with incredible fall colours as the backdrop for what I had envisaged; classic, sophisticated-chic.
	Rachel and her team outdid themselves and from the moment my bouquet was delivered to the second I turned the corner to see the chapel exquisitely decorated, I was in awe. Overcome with tears once I entered the ballroom for the first time, my husband joked that I was more emotional walking into the room then walking down the aisle. 	It was incredible and every dream I had for our wedding day came true in large part thanks to the Rachel Clingen team. Thank you for loving what you do, we are forever grateful.
