Its not to often we are guests at the weddings we design, but on a beautiful day in May, we were able to witness our dear friends Erika and Ryan express their commitment to each other. Most in the industry will know Erika and Ryan for their award winning photography skills and their creative firm Rowell Photography. Over the years we have shared many mutual clients and have grown to really enjoy each others company. When Erika shared with me her vintage inspired vision for her wedding at the Toronto historical land mark, The Royal York, I was immediately excited to create some interesting and artistic floral pieces and accents. The High Tea reception was a wonderful way to celebrate and we were thrilled to share this time together. The decor was simple but creative. French provincial chest of drawers bursting with spring flowers were the focal point for the ceremony. Random collections of vintage glassware and groupings of flowers lined the reception table. Tall tapered candles added romance from another era. It was a beautiful afternoon and we were not only honoured to do the flowers and decor but also to celebrate with the new bride and groom! These photos are gorgeous, but I wouldn’t expect anything less from Ryan and Erika. Great photographers who I am a fan of behind and in front of the camera.
Royalty! That’s the one word that would best describe this wedding. It’s perfect! And the flowers.. They are so magical! Good job!
