From time to time we would like to showcase a few of Toronto and Muskoka’s leading wedding vendors. Over our 19 years in the wedding industry, we have worked with a large spectrum of photographers, caterers, tent companies, wedding planners and venues. We thought it would be insightful to our brides to reveal some of our favourites. We love Rowell’s creative edge and have used them several times for creative shoots.

BEST PART OF WHAT YOU DO:
The best part would have to be making custom weddings albums for couples, not just because they are fun to make but because we know that these album will pass through the hands of many generations, and to us, that’s amazing!

FAVOURITE WEDDING TO DATE:
We can’t think of just one. But we keep coming back to: Tara & Ryan’s wedding at a castle in Prague.

WHAT ARE YOU MOST EXCITED ABOUT THIS WEDDING SEASON:
In April we travel to Iceland to photograph a wedding under a waterfall. And of course our wedding May 25th 2012!!!

YOUR BEST ADVICE FOR COUPLES GETTING MARRIED TO HELP THEM THROUGH THE PLANNING PROCESS:
Start planning early!!!! We can’t stress this enough. Your life is already busy enough, you don’t need to be running around in the last 5-6 month before your wedding meeting vendors for the first time. Its a frustrating process to plan a wedding at the last minute. So start planning 9 months-1year from your wedding date and then only spend a few weekends meeting with vendors. Try not to pack in all your meetings into one day, spread them out. You don’t want to be falling asleep during vendor meet and greets. You want to be at your best so they can get a good idea of who you are and what your vision is for the wedding day.

THE MUST HAVE ITEM OR SERVICE FROM ROWELL PHOTOGRAPHY FOR WEDDINGS THIS YEAR:
This year couples are loving our destination engagement sessions in near by locations like Montreal and Quebec City to give their photos that traveled look and that Parisian feel with out the expense of a plane ticket to Europe.
