We love weddings at the neat venue in Alliston called the Gibson Centre. The exposed brick and wood beams are a fabulous pallet for our flowers and decor! Our gorgeous bride Monika, and her handsome groom Chris enjoyed an intimate, lovely ceremony and reception at this historical venue.  We were so thrilled when our friends at Darlington Studios in Barrie, shared their amazing images with us and couldn’t wait to share them with you!  The ceremony was elegant but not over done. Beautiful arrangements of peonies, hydrangeas, roses and tulips created a pretty alter area and classic hand tides of spring blooms lined the aisle. Simple personal touches like antique tea cups added a quaintness to this lovely affair. Simple centrepieces of hydrangeas and roses graced each table. Congratulations to Monika and Chris. It might have been cold and snowy outside but, Mark and Michelle’s intimate candle lit ceremony at the Ancaster Mill was as cozy as could be. The decor for the simple yet elegant ceremony embraced the rustic charm of this lovely venue. Michelle’s choice for flowers included a collection of white lisianthus, fluffy mums and soft pink roses all hand tied together with a pretty satin ribbon and detailed with a antique brooch.  The reception decor and centrepieces were custom designed with birch poles to bring out the rustic feel of the room. The fire place crackled and the candles glowed all evening as friends and family celebrated with the special couple. We loved designing Audree and Omar’s trendy boutique style wedding at George Restaurant in downtown Toronto. Audree’s creative edge comes from her background in graphic design and her wedding was a reflection of her artistic style. We were thrilled when Toronto wedding planner Laura from Laura Kelly Wedding Design brought this lovely couple to us and were uber excited to listen to Audree’s vision for a modern but elegant wedding. The decor and flowers were simple but still left guests feeling the that no detail had been overlooked. Chic black urns and candelabras were key elements in the simple but captivating design. On cold and windy day in February Jacqueline and Will embraced the beauty of our Canadian winter and celebrated their wedding at the lovely Hockley Valley Resort. More often then not we are planning flowers and decor for summer weddings at Hockley, including many ceremony set ups in their pretty tent, but this time we created a intimate and romantic look for the couples vows in a section of the main ballroom. The design was simple but elegant!  Tall and beautiful manzanita trees lined the aisle and sparkled with candlelight. The cozy atmosphere was transferred to the main ballroom where  guests danced the night away and enjoyed a fabulous meal. Winter fun included horse drawn wagon rides for the guests! Manzanita branches embellished with orchids and roses made lovely centrepieces and a charcoal grey backdrop added a striking focal point for the head table. Bold colours of the Mediterranean, combined with Egyptian motifs bring epic drama to this awe inspiring wedding shoot featuring our own version of Cleopatra! Stunning flowers and luxury decor, including a gold chariot are a feast for the eyes. This collaborative effort with our friends and wedding planners Laura Kelly Wedding Design, along with other talented Toronto wedding industry experts was one of our favourite creative projects. No detail was over looked including a beautiful and very well behaved camel named ‘Dora’. Not going to lie.. she was definitely a bit of a distraction but we were all amazed at her beauty and grace. Visual Cravings captured this shoot with incredible vibrance and detail and we were thrilled to have the shoot featured in Wedluxe Magazine.
