There are brides that when planning their wedding have already envisioned a "look" if you will, in their minds as to exactly what that day should be like. I am one of those brides.

After my husband popped the question we had all sorts of ideas as to where, when and how. The only problem was deciding which route to go. Dino and I had secretly always wanted an outdoor wedding after having attended a few, but thought that logistically it would be a real hassle to plan and find the right venue. Fortunately for us my gracious brother in law and his wife offered their beautiful property and home for what was to be the location of our future garden wedding.

This is where the fun began...planning! I am somewhat of a magazine rat and had clipped a picture of a tent wedding from some time ago and had decided to give this do-it-all decor company on the add a call and see what they were all about. Not to sound cliche' but the rest is history. I compare my first meeting with Rachel to finding that perfect pair of black strappy sandals..perfect!

My second call after crying to my husband was to Rachel who was at the house getting everything ready. After a brief discussion she assured me 'that it looked like it was going to clear up and that everything was going to be just fine'. Oh how I wanted to believe her and since she had been 'putting out some other fires' for me already, I hoped that my personal 'genie' had one more wish to grant me?

Later that day my wish was granted. The weather cleared and it was a perfect day. The grounds looked fantastic and the tent... we'll lets just say that whatever magic Rachel and David spun to transform what once stood as a tennis court into this oasis of beauty must have worked. All Dino and I ever wanted was for our friends and family to experience something different and beautiful. I believe that its truly magical to find the person you want to marry and even more magical to do it in a place that looks just like you may have wondered into the pages of that fairy tale.
